Apostolos Zarros MRes PhD PhD FIBMS (born 1983, Greece) is a Glasgow-based physician serving as the Director of the Pharmacological Research Observatory, as a Visiting Professor at the College of Pharmacy of the University of Babylon, and as an Honorary Research Fellow at the Institute of Cancer Sciences of the University of Glasgow. Since October 2020 he is also working as a Laboratory Scientist at the Lighthouse Lab in Glasgow; the COVID-19 Emergency Test Centre set up at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Ηe has undertaken undergraduate, postgraduate and postdoctoral research focusing on the development and assessment of experimental simulation approaches to brain diseases. He is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine and the British Pharmacological Society Ambassador to the University of Babylon.
